West Harbor Club is a friendly 50-site seasonal community where the days run on lake time — morning coffee on the porch, afternoons on the water, and sunsets you will never get tired of.
See the ParkTucked along NE Catawba Road in Port Clinton, our little harbor of a park has everything a Lake Erie summer needs — and nothing it doesn't. Fifty homesites, tree-lined lanes, good neighbors, and the lake right down the road. Our family has welcomed summer residents here since 1975.
A small, neighborly community — big enough for friends, small enough to know everybody's name (and their dog's).
Boat ramps, marinas, and charter docks are just down the road. Walleye season is a way of life here.
Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island are a short ferry ride away — close enough for dinner, far enough to feel like a getaway.
A part-time summer home without the year-round upkeep. Open with the spring walleye run, rest for the winter.
West Harbor Club is a seasonal park — we open with the spring walleye run and close down after the fall colors. Here's how a year at the harbor goes:
The park wakes up. Water's on, porches are swept, and the first cookout of the year is never far off. Welcome-back letters go out to every resident before opening day.
Long days on the water, community events and cookouts, grandkids visiting, and the Fourth of July done the way it should be — small-town parade, big-sky fireworks.
Perch season, crisp mornings, and the best sunsets of the year. We wind down together with closing notices, winterizing reminders, and one last get-together.
The park sleeps under the snow while residents head home or south. We keep an eye on things — spring always comes.
Port Clinton calls itself the Walleye Capital of the World, and Catawba Island is Lake Erie's front porch. Living here puts it all within easy reach:

Simple, honest pricing — the way a family park should be. Residents own their homes and lease their sites on a 12-month rental agreement; the park furnishes water, sewer, and trash pickup.
Openings change from season to season, and every home purchased in the park goes through a simple application and approval — Ohio law, and good neighbors, ask that of all of us. Thinking about a summer place here? Start with the application, or just give us a call.
West Harbor Club has been one family's summer promise for fifty years — and it still is. Read how the park began, and who keeps it today.
